First let’s decide about Embroidery Rings. Should you choose Wooden Embroidery Hoop or Plastic Embroidery Hoop?

Wooden Embroidery Hoops: - You will not believe this but wooden hoops are more smooth then plastic ones. You can adjust them on different fabrics and they are preferred for handwork. I personally feel that you can adjust any fabric better on wooden frames then plastic. Also as time demands, it’s better to use wood than plastic.

Plastic Embroidery Hoops: - If you are price conscious and want to try first then these frames are perfect. Very light in weight and you will never worry about breaking them. Mostly these frames rings are used in machine embroidery because of their tear and wear strength.

 

 

Zarodsi embroidery or needlepoint works:- The frames without stand will work for you. We have many interesting shapes in this style.

Brass setting wooden frames: - We have round shape, square, triangle, and oval embroidery frames with brass settings. You must use these wooden frames if you want to create something like a wall hanging or home decoration piece, which you don’t want to take out from the frame. These are beautiful and you can take out the fabric from them if you want. Because of the brass screw, it open and close very easily.

Iron setting wooden frames: - Only round shape we have. Like 4 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch and 12 inch round frames in this. These are price friendly and good to use in teaching classes or in production of embroidery. Because of the iron screw, you need to use little power to open and close them.

Ari Embroidery:- You need a frame where your both hand are free. We have 2 options in this.

Rectangle Aari Embroidery Frame: - This is the vintage style frame. Called by many names adda, embroidery cot, aari cot, maggam work cot etc. If you doing embroidery for a wedding dress, dupatta, lengha, suit neckline, saree then you have to use this wooden frame.
