How to use Crimp Beads for Making Bracelet

In the last blog, I showed you how to use crimp beads and bead tips for making bracelets. If you haven’t check it, you can see it here.

When you are making any jewelry item with thick craft wire or bead wire, you might not need to use bead tips, in such cases you can just go for crimp beads.

Material Required:

  • Crimp Beads
  • Beads for beading
  • Beading Wire or Thread
  • Crimper or Flat Nose Pliers
  • Flush Cutter
  • Jump Rings
  • Clasps

Step by Step Instructions:

1) Cut 8 Inches of Beading Wire.

2) Add beads of your choice in the beading wire and a crimp bead at the end.

3) Now, take the beading wire back through the crimp bead.

4) Make the loop small so that the jump ring can easily pass through it.

5) Close/Squeeze the crimp bead with the help of a flat nose plier.

6) Cut the extra wire with the flush cutter and slide beads over both the beading wires.

8) Once you are done with beading, repeat the steps from 3 to 6 at the other end.

10) Add jump rings to the loop we have created and add a clasp.

11) Add jump rings to the other end too. Here, you can also add charm if you want.

And you are done.
