Life Is Not over after Retirement, It’s Just a Beginning for This Lady, Check out How It Happened

As a company, we always believed in adding value to the lives of our customers with product and services. It gives us immense pleasure when we not only help big fashion designers but also the people who are pursuing their hobbies individually. One such example is Mrs. Anasua Chakraborty who has been with us since we laid down the foundation of this company. She is an inspiration to people who feel harassed after retirement with an active life gone and a lot of time in hand. For her, taking up the hobby became the game changer as she found peace and solace in it.

Let’s hear her story in her own words with a little peek into her priceless work.

“I retired from service two years ago and am still continuing as a consultant going for work for a short while, about 4 days a week. After retirement, I found I had a lot of time on my hands and wanted to revive my passion for embroidery.

Being an online shopper I was surfing the net for some embroidery items when, just by chance, I landed on embroiderymaterial.com.

Since then I have to look nowhere else for anything I may need. Tracing paper, hoops and frames - all kinds of threads, needles, embellishments - everything. Prompt delivery in beautifully packed boxes. A new item in stock every few days. And an amazing variety of items - such that one doesn’t need to look anywhere else.

That is not all; I needed to learn a few things. How to transfer a design on fabric effectively and quickly. Just the tracing paper was not enough. I discovered a video again from EMC where I learned the technique. I needed a pinning machine!! I found two of them were available on the website and needed to know which to buy. So I sent a message and prompt came the reply. An extremely helpful person solved my problem and I was ready to go.

Next was the adda frame which I had been eyeing for a while. I dared not buy it without understanding how to set it up and use it. Again I found a set of three videos - a complete tutorial from EMC. So I got the frame and with the video tutorial running on my phone I learned to set it up.

I feel really grateful that EMC thought of sharing these video tutorials. I knew how to sew in sequins and beads only - using a needle and thread. From these videos, I learned so much more - how to add the beautiful dabka french wires, gota patti etc.

I am also really appreciative of the entire team for being so helpful. They are so accommodative - every suggestion made is considered with due respect, every question is willingly answered.

Every little problem that I may face with my embroidery - I know I’ll get help from them.

This has motivated me into taking up the huge project I am working on now. Here in Bengal, we have a custom of buying gifts for family and friends during a wedding. People mostly buy sarees and suits for women, formal suits or shirts and trousers for men, etc. With my son’s wedding coming up - I decided I will not buy such stuff. Instead, I am doing embroidery on kurtas, saree- blouses etc. knowing that people will really appreciate my effort. And this has been possible only because of embroiderymaterial.com I have already embroidered almost two dozen saree blouses and half a dozen kurtas. Thanks to the team from the core of my heart. I wish them all the best!!”

The love and support that we get from our customers keep us motivated to do our best. We are truly grateful to Mrs. Chakraborty for sharing her creative journey with us. You can also share your stories with us in the comment section below.
